Using the words found on your Bingo sheet, find or hide caches containing one of those words in the title and write the GC code and date found or hidden in the Bingo square. Merry Christmas is a free square.
This challenge runs from November 16, 2024, to December 31, 2024. The submission form must be completed no later than January 5, 2025.
MiGO Bingo was created by our Treasurer, Lynn Johnson, and modified for this challenge by your smilin’ VP, Dan Cable. You can play up to 3 Bingo cards, but each geocache will only count once. You can obtain a Bingo card by filling out this entry form at any time during the contest, and the card(s) will be emailed to you. Simply specify how many cards you’d like to play.
Submit your Bingo cards using the submission form. Further instructions can be found within the form itself. Players are expected to understand and play by the Common Contest Rules as well as the MiGO Code of Fair Play.
Everyone is eligible to play, but only MiGO members can win. Every member is eligible to win a random drawing prize. Finds and hides (including events) count for one point, as long as they are part of a Bingo. Finds must be made within the contest period, and hides must be published within the contest period. Sorry, but no Adventure Labs count for this challenge.
Words included as part of another word do count. A Bingo consists of a horizontal row, a vertical column, or a diagonal row from corner to corner. Only squares that constitute a Bingo will count for points.
Lake Superior members will have their points doubled and are playing for a Geocoin selected from our collection. Lake Huron members are playing for a $10 coupon toward a membership renewal or upgrade. Lake St. Clair and Trial members are playing for a $5 coupon toward a membership upgrade. The more players we get, the more prizes we’ll draw.

Q: How many Bingos can I score? Should I turn in my sheet after I have completed 1 line?
A: You may score as many Bingos as you can muster on up to 3 sheets. The squares in a completed row, column, or diagonal will count toward your score. Q:
1) Rules say squares are one point each. I see no mention of points for bingos.
2) Can a player use a GC code for more than one square? For example if there is a cache Santa likes Cookies at the North Pole, can it be used for squares Santa, cookies, and North Pole? What if those squares are on different bingo cards?
A:
1. Only the squares in a Bingo will count. Uncompleted rows. columns, or diagonals get no points.2. Each GC code is only good for one square. If you find or hide a cache with more than one of the words in it you may choose which square to use it in and on which sheet but the GC code can only be used once across all your sheets.
