IMPORTANT:  Since that last time we held this promotion, the rules and requirement have been simplified.  Please review all tabs to avoid any mis-understandings or incorrect submissions.

How well do you know your zip codes?
How many have you cached in?

Maybe more after this contest.  This contest will require you to visit zip codes and find caches that meet a specific requirement.  Zip codes will be determined by the last 2 digits. For example, if the last two digits as announced are 26, any zip codes ending in 26 would qualify.

A new list of 2-digit numbers will be published each week (Mon-Sun) for 6 weeks. This contest is open to everyone, but only MiGO members can win prizes. Non-members who are drawn for a prize will be recognized as an honorable mention. Players may play from anywhere in the USA, however players outside of Michigan will need to research their own qualifying zip codes.

A maximum of one entry for each geocaching account is allowed.

All dates and times are Eastern Standard or Eastern Daylight Time (UTC-5), whatever is in effect.

Caches must be found or hidden within a zip code that aligns with the last 2 digits posted for the week. (As long as the “hidden” date falls in the weekly range, you will not be penalized if the reviewer doesn’t publish it within that week.)

Caches must be physical geocaches with physical logs, with the exception of events, i.e., Traditional, multi-stage, mystery, letterbox and wherigo caches are eligible.  Virtuals, Earthcaches, Webcams and Adventure Labs are not eligible.

Cache finds and hides must be recorded on the Finder's Cache List Form or the Hider's Cache List form and be submitted as an attachment to the Player Completion Form.  No other form will be accepted.

Finds: A cache to eligible for scoring as a find must:
    1. Be within the zip code boundaries eligible for the current week.
    2. Be found and physically logged prior to your completed entry being submitted.
    3. Be logged with a date that matches the date of the physical find and within the appropriate week for zip code used.
    4. You may not score a cache that you do not find the existing cache and sign the actual log in the existing cache. In other words, no throw downs, even if the CO says you may!

HidesCaches eligible for scoring as a hide must:
    1. Be published prior to the end of the contest period (4/26/2026).
    2. Must be hidden during the week the zip code is eligible.
    3. Be logged on your Cache List form indicated as a hide.

Scoring will be done by the Contest Manager(s) and results posted on the website.
The winner(s) will also be announced on the MiGO Facebook Group.

Winner(s)
will be selected using a random draw from the list of participants who turn in a MZip:Completed form with one or more hides or finds. Points will be applied based on the following criteria.

      • 2 points for each eligible hide- Limit 2 per zip code.
