Questions & Answers
It’s summertime, and for this challenge, you’re trying to find or hide geocaches with the name of a Michigan lake in them. We’ve got over 11,000 of them that are larger than 5 acres, so there are plenty to choose from. Whether it’s the unique Sudden Unexpected Pond or the very common Mud Lake, there are over 3,000 words in the list to choose from. So, jump on in and splash around a bit and see what you get.

Here’s the list we’ve come up with: Lake Names (spreadsheet) or Lake Names (PDF). The list is broken up into individual words/numbers.

Complete the results form and submit it no later than September 5, 2025 (11:59 PM). Project-GC will be used to determine the winner of the challenge. NO ENTRY FORM IS REQUIRED.

The Water Wonderland Challenge was created by MrandMrsMan.
Obtain your number of points from Project-GC here.

A list of eligible lake names can be found here in spreadsheet format or here in PDF format.

Submit this form with the results from running the Project-GC checker using your cacher name.

Players are expected to understand and play by the Common Contest Rules as well as the MiGO Code of Fair Play.

Anyone can play, but only MiGO members can win. For more information on joining MiGO, click here.
