Your challenge this month is to find or hide geocaches containing the words North, East, South, or West. There are also 4 secret directional words you can receive points for.
Complete the Results Form and submit it no later than May 5, 2025 (11:59 PM). Project-GC will be used to determine the winner of the challenge. NO ENTRY FORM IS REQUIRED.

Submit this form with the results from running the Project-GC checker using your cacher name. - Finds:
- Find caches containing any of the the words "North," "East," "South," or "West" in the title.
- Finds must be made between March 15, 2025, and April 30, 2025.
- Hides:
- Hide caches containing any of the the words "North," "East," "South," or "West" in the title.
- Hides must be published between March 15, 2025, and April 30, 2025.
- Eligible Caches:
- Any cache with a GC code is eligible.
- Words included as part of another word (e.g. "northeast") do count.
- A maximum of one word will count for each cache. For example, "northeast" would count for either "north" or "east," but not both.
- Finds or hides containing any of 4 secret directional words in the title will also count. However, these words will not be revealed prior to the end of the challenge.
- Points:
- Every qualifying find will be awarded 1 point. One bonus point will be awarded if the word appears at the beginning of the cache title (for a total of 2 points).
- Every qualifying hide will be awarded 3 points. One bonus point will be awarded if the word appears at the beginning of the cache title (for a total of 4 points).
- Lake Superior members will have their points doubled (not included in the checker; will be calculated later).
- Points from the secret directional words will be included in the total number shown in the checker results, but the qualifying caches corresponding to these words will not be listed.
- Winners:
- Winners will be chosen by a random drawing of entrants.
- The number of winners will depend on the number of entrants:
- 1-15 entrants = 1 winner
- 16-30 entrants = 2 winners
- 31+ entrants = 3 winners
- Prizes:
- Lake Superior and Lake Huron members are playing for a collectible geocoin.
- Lake St. Clair and Trial members are playing for a membership upgrade coupon.
- Membership is measured at the end of the challenge. Anyone who upgrades their membership during the challenge period will be competing at the upgraded level.
- The challenge managers reserve the right to offer additional prizes, depending on the number of entrants.
