MSU Garden Geocache Event

Welcome to the 12th Annual 4-H Children's Garden Family event designed to introduce you to geocaching and the MSU Gardens.

11 AM - 2 PM

The coordinates will take you to the MSU Horticulture Gardens parking lot.  Parking is free for this event. The event will start in the 4-H Children's Garden.

Cache veterans and new enthusiasts are welcome at this geocaching adventure. Bring your picnic lunch and enjoy a day of of geocaching in the 4-H Children's Garden, the Judith A. DuLapa Perennial Garden, the Amien A. and Florence M. Carter Annual Trial Garden, and the Clarence E. Lewis Arboretum.

We will find new caches, learn about travel bugs, and enjoy strolling through the gardens. If you have a GPS Unit or a geocaching app on your phone you will be all set.  If you do not, we will have several preloaded loaner Garmin Etrex units.

****NOTE:  Coordinates will be given out about 11:30 AM following a short introduction to geocaching presentation.  The new caches should also be published by then.  If you are an experienced cacher, please consider helping a new person or family at this event.

New this year:  There will be 2 caches in the Arboretum this year.  Home Sweet Home (GC7QKHJ) has found a permanent home in the Radiology Garden and there is no room for a second cache there.
